Since then I also completed projects in Twine and in Ren'Py.
Localisation
Feel free to contact me if you're looking for somebody to localise your game from English to Polish or vice versa!My career in localisation began in 2018, when I completed my English degree and started working as a freelance translator.From November 2020 to May 2024 I worked full-time as a Polish Linguist at Keywords Studios, where I contributed to the Polish localisation of multiple AAA titles.Since May 2024 I've continued working in game localisation, again as a freelancer.

Hello! My name is Mateusz Maria Wierzbowski and I'm a Polish narrative designer and localisation specialist. Whether it's a game, film, book, or something else entirely, I love it when a work of art pulls at my heartstrings and shows me something new. I hope to work on interactive stories that have the same impact on other people. Video games have been a part of my life ever since I found the demo for Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome on a Windows 98 CD and I love being a part of this industry.Games aren't my only passion, though. In another life I would be a historian, but in this one I settled for a historical podcast. I also love linguistics and learning languages; besides my native Polish, I'm fluent in English and communicative in French and Spanish.Feel free to contact me if you'd like to work together on a game, chat about anything, or just tell me how cool I am.
